Alekram Foundation implemented the largest relief project in Sa’ada by distributing 15,000 food baskets at a cost of (120.000.000)YR

Alekram Foundation implemented the largest charity project in Sa’ada governorate during the holy month of Ramadan by distributing fifteen thousand food baskets to all districts and villages of the governorate .

The total cost of the project has reached more than one hundred and twenty million Yemeni riyals in addition to voluntary tremendous efforts made by the project team in all areas ,otherwise that would have increased the project cost due to the high transport and wage costs in the governorate because of the severe siege , roads cut , and extreme danger in the transport that is targeted by the war airline.

Food baskets included flour, sugar, rice, cooking oil, butter and many others of the food items.

It is worth mentioning that the number of traders and philanthropists have contributed to this project by sums of money , in-kind or personal efforts . And their goal is to be rewarded by God and contribute to alleviating some of the suffering faced by the province.

What characterizes the Foundation project is being accessible to all remote villages along the hottest border and the most risky places that could not be reached by any international or local organization. However, the Foundation delivered aid to these areas with concerted efforts of the people of these areas and the presence of representatives deployed in every place.

It is worth mentioning that the project launch and its brief report have been broadcasted on Yemen’s official TV channel that can be found on the report via YouTube at the following link
